Quality assurance Engineer

Location

This position is based from Kollective's headquarters office in Bend, Oregon.

Responsibilities

  • Identify customer requirements and translate them into test plans and test cases
  • Understand the product/feature usage by enterprise customers and concentrate on use case scenarios.
  • Communicate product defects to product management and engineering team in clear & concise format.
  • Create, execute, and modify automation scripts to improve productivity, and work with other automation engineers to grow the framework

desired skills & experience

  • BS or equivalent in math/computer science
  • Firm grasp of Testing Concepts: planning, design, execution, and reporting
  • Must have some programming & scripting experience in Python and JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium or Pytest
  • Database concepts, experience with different types of databases, and how to interact with them using languages like SQL
  • Experience with networks, labs & systems setup and configuration will be very handy.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and work in an agile, high pressure environment.
  • Proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Experience with Cloud Computing Services.
  • Experience with Apache projects such as Flink, Kafka, Iceberg, etc.
  • Experience with Observability and Real User Monitoring
  • Experience with Virtual Computing environments and Containers.
  • Experience with Java Services testing - working with RESTful interfaces
  • Experience with content delivery networks or software solutions for content delivery.
